“ 9/14/23 - Very good southern cooking. Seasoned just right, I got the bbg chicken (white meat) w/cabbage & mashed potatoes and my husband got bbq chicken (white meat) yams & collards. The chicken fell of the bone and sides were great. Good portions of everything! We got it to go around 1:30pm. Very reasonable - 13.25 and came w/cornbread. Will be back!!! ”

“ Good soul food! I get the same thing every time tho.. salsbury steak over rice, mac n cheese, collards, and a side of yams! The rib tips fire too! And the fried chicken! It’s safe to say everything is good!.... Mr. Walter always friendly and nice but a couple of the women got challenging attitudes but I’m use to it! Been eating here consistently for years and they haven’t failed me!!! ”
“ I’ve been here a couple times after swinging by on work trips. It’s as real as it gets in terms of soul food— the genuine ambiance, southern hospitality from the front lady, and the homestyle quality of all the food. Highly recommend the fried chicken, oxtail, and sweet tea. Very reasonable prices too. Definitely made it onto my list of local staple spots. ”
